The debate between Atlantic Jewel and Black Caviar is starting to become a topical discussion with many people in the racing industry.
Many so called ‘experts’ are saying Supestar 3 year old filly Atlantic Jewel was better than Black Caviar at the same age. Well I think they’re wrong.
Atlantic Jewel’s record stands at 6 wins including a win against the Mare’s in the Sapphire Stakes but at The same time Black Caviar had a record of 5 wins but she had beat the males 4 times and once against recently retired Here De Angels also through that period she beat Wanted a Group 1 winning sprrinter, Denman Top class 3yo of that era and Multipe group winner Extra Zero.
Though Atlantic Jewel has beaten Mosheen and did destroy her but those 3 year olds havent yet matched up in the spring.
Black Caviar will take on a bunch of Listed class mares with the Exception of Lone Rock on Saturday but that is not because Moody is scared of Atlantic Jewel it’s so the South Australian public can catch a glimpse of a Champion.
Tab Sportsbet has come up with a creative market between Atlantic Jewel and Black Caviar its a head to head clash by margins. Black Caviar is the favourite at $1.40 whilst Atlantic Jewel is at $3.
